The European Securities and Markets Authority (“ESMA”) has published a central repository of credit rating statistics and the historical performance of credit rating agencies. This fulfils part of ESMA’s mandate to improve the transparency of credit rating agencies and to standardise the presentation of ratings information for comparability.
