The Australian Securities and Investments Commission ("ASIC") annual report includes extensive licensing details, inside trends and ASIC’s results for the financial year 2010-11. Over the 12 month period, there were over 15,000 reports of alleged misconduct among businesses and licensees, a 17% increase on the previous year; 28% of misconduct reports were escalated for compliance, investigation or surveillance.
