Ross Buckley, King & Wood Mallesons Professor of International Finance Law, UNSW Sydney, presented at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion’s Pacific Islands Regional Initiative (PIRI) Leaders’ Forum from 6 - 7 June 2018 in Apia, Samoa. The theme of the forum was FinTech for Financial Inclusion. Professor Buckley’s presentation (view presentation slides here) focused on the opportunities for advancing financial inclusion by incorporating FinTech innovations and regulatory innovations arising from FinTech. Professor Buckley was also a panelist on the session “FinTech to Close the Financial Inclusion Gap”.
